Luna’s Howl on of the Best!
No matter what is going on in the lore or otherwise, one thing that most Destiny players can agree upon is that the gear drives us all.
And Luna’s Howl is a hot and in-demand item right now.
So you’re probably wondering how you get it.
Luckily for you, you’ve come to the right place.
In this brief guide we’ll tell you all about the Luna’s Howl Hand Cannon and how you can add it to your personal arsenal.
Luna’s Howl Stats are Impressive
As far as guns go, the Luna’s Howl’s stats are impressive, indeed: Boasting of 180 RPM with 78 Impact and 57 Crit rounds out perks that include Zen Moment (inflicting damage increases stability), Drop Mag(very fast reload with some ammo loss), and Magnificent Howl (landing consecutive precision shots boosts damage).
Luna’s Howl Quest Begins
To begin the journey to get Luna’s Howl you need to see Crucible overseer Shaxx and get the quest Shock and Denial. This requires completion of 10 crucible matches on a competitive playlist. After completing that, you get the quest Pain and Guilt where you will need to defeat 150 opponents in Crucible matchups using hand cannon weapons.
Luna’s Howl Anger and Bargaining and
Depression and Loneliness Quest Steps
Following this is the quest Anger and Bargaining. The requirement here is Solar final blows in competitive Crucible matchups. After Anger and Bargaining is the task called Depression and Loneliness where players will complete competitive matches in the Rumble playlist. Rounding this out is the quest The Upward Turn which forces the player to complete 200 precision blows during competitive Crucible matches using hand cannon guns.
If that sounds like a bit of a grind to you, that’s because it is. On the bright side, the requirements are pretty straight forward if not easy to accomplish.
Luna’s Howl Reconstruction and Acceptance and Return to Shaxx
The final two quests to get the Luna’s Howl hand cannon are called Reconstruction and Acceptance with the first requiring players to obtain the rank of “fabled” in glory competitive crucible and the second simply requiring a return to Crucible overseer Shaxx.
Acceptance will get you the hand cannon but it will also being a new quest. This one is called Keepsake.
Made up of three parts, the first part, Hope, conditions players to master Luna’s Howl by defeating opponents in competitive matches while the second part, Always Faithful, pushes players to obtain the rank of “legend” in glory. The final part, Not Forgotten, wraps it up with a return to overseer Shaxx to finish it up.
There you have it, your brand new Luna’s Howl – and boy did you work for it.
That said, the Luna’s Howl is a pretty good weapon compared to the others on offer which makes it worth the time sink involved.
